Ortto, a unified customer journey platform for online business, has released artificial intelligence software said to be able to predict email open rates based on the subject line.
The tool helps marketers predict if an email marketing campaign will be a success or failure before they hit send based on a purposely-trained neural network. The neural network was trained by Ortto engineers on billions of email subject lines and the corresponding open rates that have been sent by Ortto customers since 2015.
Chris Sharkey, Ortto CTO and co-founder, said: “We tested the AI predictions against thousands of email marketing campaigns that were sent, and to our surprise the AI was incredibly accurate, often only 2-3 basis points off the actual result.”
Michael Sharkey, CEO and co-founder of Ortto, said “After using AI to predict an open rate of a subject line I’ve never even sent, it was clear to me that this is the beginning of the end of A/B testing.
“The technology is game changing, it will ensure marketers never send a poorly performing email marketing campaign again.”
The tool is available withoiut charge now through Ortto’s AI labs.
